Preview & publish
Preview anytime
The play button in the toolbar runs your current draft in the real engine — no export, no waiting. The preview engine and the shipping engine are the same: WYSIWYG.
Publish a version (web)
When ready, create a version in project management: a content snapshot viewers access via a play link. Further editing never affects published versions — release a new one when you’re happy.
Desktop clients
A version can be packaged as a Windows / macOS / Linux client: engine and all assets bundled, playable offline, with custom app name and icon.
- Windows: unzip and run (unsigned builds need “Run anyway” in SmartScreen once)
- macOS: first launch via right-click → Open (unsigned)
Builds for Steam review
A single run of an interactive film can take hours; giving reviewers a way to skip ahead meaningfully shortens the review cycle. Recommended: create a separate version just for review (versions are independent), mount the built-in Review Helper plugin on it in the editor's Plugins panel (a persistent REVIEW badge opening a chapter/scene jump panel), and package that version for submission — never mount it on your release version. In your review notes, tell reviewers they can jump to any numbered chapter/scene via the REVIEW badge in the top-left corner.
Access control
Scenes can be tied to products (unlocked after purchase) for paid content, backed by the pricing and order system.
